Personal Brand Statement

I grew up in Long Beach in the Belmont Heights community, where I learned early on the value of connection, culture, and community. Sports played a huge role in my life from the start. I began playing soccer at five years old and quickly fell in love with both the competition and the team dynamic. Over time, I expanded into softball and volleyball, continuing to build my passion for athletics.

That passion carried into middle and high school, where I played both soccer and volleyball. At Wilson High School, I was captain of the Frosh-Soph soccer team before moving up to Varsity, and I also led my club team. Those experiences shaped my confidence, leadership style, and ability to motivate others.

I attended San Diego State University, where I studied Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising. While I was drawn to storytelling and communication, I was still figuring out how that translated into a long-term career. Along the way, I worked in the service industry and later in tech sales, where I gained valuable communication and relationship-building experience.

After graduating, I found myself naturally drawn back to sports. Whether playing beach volleyball or staying active in the local community, it became clear that I wanted to build a career in an industry I was truly passionate about. That realization led me to the Sport Management Master’s program at CSULB and back home to Long Beach.

Today, I’m focused on pursuing a career in sports marketing and communications. My background in advertising, combined with real-world experience in customer-facing roles in sales and athletics, has given me a strong and unique foundation that I’m excited to continue building on.

Outside of my professional goals, you can find me playing pickleball, playing/writing music, staying active, or spending time with the people (and my cat) who mean the most to me.
